Michele Northwood   rated it - it was amazing

Hooks you from the very first page. A gripping read from start to finish.

This is the first novel that I have read by this author, but it certainly won´t be the last. This is a great read!

The main character, Briony, finds herself in the train station with no memory of the previous 133 hours of her life. As she stumbles into work, feeling dizzy and disoriented, she is almost sacked by her acerbic female boss, befriended by an office girl she has never previously spoken to before and then taken under the wing of her suddenly repenting boss. By this point, my mind was reeling. Who can she possibly trust?

As each new character is introduced, I found myself constantly analysing them and asking how they could be involved. The writer´s skill in subtly casting doubt is little short of ingenious. Each new lead brings shocking discoveries that, once again, make you wonder if the characters you had previously eliminated as suspects could still actually be involved.

Just when you assume that you know everything about the case, BANG! Something else you didn´t see coming throws a new slant into the mix. This is a gripping read from start to finish that hooks you from the very first page and refuses to let go. This is a book that you won´t be able to put down. Highly Recommended.
